Hermes has the ability to automatically filter chat that contains objectionable language. This filter is used in all of the following options.
The filter is contained in a file named CENSOR.TXT. You must create this file yourself in order to make use of this feature; you may also copy the CENSOR.TXT file used in AWTeen.
